The function of the C98-S Air Conditioning Unit is to provide contained air (either by cooling, heating, dehumidifying, air filtration or by the introduction of fresh air).
When cooling is required, the objective is to remove heat from one area and to induce it to another area by the use of a refrigeration circuit and air moving systems.
When heating is required, the objective is to add heat to the conditioned space by means of resistance heaters and air moving system.
When fresh air is required the unit will draw air from outside the application and filter the air before it is introduced into the conditioned space.
The air conditioner is used for the automatic control of the environment when used with Ebac approved control equipment, and it is designed for internal fitting in shelters or for external applications with the use of appropriate ductwork.
A combined name and serial plate is fixed to the front of the unit and the information found thereon should always be quoted when making any enquires to Ebac.
The unit is designed to with stand the levels of vibration and shock generated by road, sea and air transportation.
