One of our mid-range lumber drying systems the LD3000 will dry 3000BF of 1" hardwood quickly and economically. This unit is designed and priced for use by small commercial lumber drying operations or those with portable sawmills who wish to improve their bottomline by offering kiln-dried, high quality wood. It utilizes the same plug-N-play technology of our smaller units, eliminating costly electrical contractor costs. Typical owners of this unit are sawyers, loggers, lumber wholesalers, larger furniture manufacturers, and craftsmen.

The unit comes complete with 2 powerful internal fans, 2 external 16" fans, dehumidification system, heating element, master controller and optional vent system. A rugged and durable piece of equipment, it is not uncommon for this unit to log over 50,000 hours of drying prior to any significant maintenance.

Drawing upon over a quarter century of supplying high value lumber dryers to the world market, EBAC provides proven, complete design and construction plans for the LD3000 kiln structure.

How It Works
This model is wall mounted in the kiln structure. 2 powerful internal fans pulls in the wet air from the woodstack. The dehumidifier portion of the unit removes the moisture from the air. The moisture which has been removed from the wood, is drained through a hose to the outside of the kiln. The now dry air is reheated and blown by the two externally truss-mounted fans through the woodstack to repeat the process. Temperature and Relative Humidity are regulated by adjusting the Master Controller, which is mounted on the outside of the kiln structure.
